Landings facing west and takeoffs facing east offer spectacular views of the Habushiura coast.

The port is located in the northern part of the island. The main village, the center of the island, can only be reached by car or a connecting bus through a tunnel. (The tunnel is not accessible by foot or bicycle.)

The port is close to the central area Honmura. The arrival and departure quay for the liaison vessel Shiki is a short distance away.
