Aloe, Stretia, Hibiscus! The Island of Everlasting Spring welcomes travelers with its prized flowers, and is served by ANA flights from Haneda Airport three times a day, as well as the Tokyo Ai-land Shuttle, a heli-commuter service connecting Aogashima/Mikurajima and Hachijojima.

The Gateway to the Sea of Hachijo-jima. With passenger boats arriving and departing on the Takeshiba - Hachijojima and Aogashima - Hachijojima routes, this port is a crossroads of encounters and partings. There is a bathing beach right next to the port, and a fireworks display is held during the Bon Festival in summer.

This is the port where the Tachibana Maru and Kuroshio Maru arrive and depart when the Sokodo (Kamiminato) Port is not available. It boasts a view of Mt. Mihara in the back. It is a secret, spectacular view that only lucky travelers can see. In winter, whales may be seen offshore.
